About Richard Ehrlich
Richard Ehrlich is a playwright, composer, and author whose work explores the invisible labor that holds families together, the experience of neurodivergence, civic dialogue, and the cost of moral endurance.
Richard creates contemporary theatre and inspirational books that examine what it means to navigate identity, responsibility, and belonging in the modern world. His theatrical work addresses neurodiversity and ADHD (ALL AT ONCE!), mental health and self-compassion (TONIC), surveillance communities and immigrant resilience (THE BREATH), family caregiving (THE WEIGHT), civic dialogue and polarization (THE THIRD CHAIR), and social anxiety (FEARLESS SECRETS).
Richard's GoYou inspirational series (written under the pen name Jack Cummings) offers practical wisdom and encouragement for readers discovering their potential and living authentically.
Richard writes about the moments when doing the right thing begins to collide with the life you're trying to protect. His work is characterized by sharp naturalistic dialogue, authentic representation of neurodivergent and mental health experiences, and a commitment to showing the unpolished truth of contemporary family life.
Richard is a member of the Dramatists Guild and operates GoYou Brands, LLC. He lives in New York City.
